Ambiance At Home introduces a new line of household furnishings inspired by design movements from the early 20th century. Our beautiful Marquetry designs are individually hand crafted in our shop in central Illinois. Base woods are oak, cherry, walnut, mahogany, and maple.
The inlaid designs are of contrasting woods including exotic hardwoods such as ebony and rosewood.
The inspiration is primarily from the Arts and Crafts movement but element of Art Nouveau, and Art Deco are found. These are designs that would make the Arts and Crafts Movement proud. The line includes boxes, lamps, clocks, mirrors, screens and small cabinet pieces.
Individual items can be viewed and purchased through our website. Custom work is also encouraged and limited only by imagination, whether a modification of an existing pieces in the line or a complete custom outfit.
